We are proud to announce that we have signed a deal with DivAudi Entertainment and Bagman Records!  We are already working together to do some rad shit this year!  Including records, new merch, tours, etc!  Speaking of, we have gotten a few of mixes back of a few of the new tunes and they sound awesome!  We really want to get this record out to you guys as soon as we possibly can, and the end of this long wait is beginning to rear it's head! Keep on the lookout here, facebook, and twitter as we continue to post updates whenever we get em.

As promised we are posting a new song from our upcoming album tonight! This is an UNMIXED and UNMASTERED version of Pouring Problems. You may have heard us play it live at one of the past few shows. We think it fits the theme of this weekend pretty well, what with all the partying and boozing and whatnot. So check it out and let us know what you think! It will only be up til Sunday night or Monday morning! So listen up while you can! Hopefully we will get everything mixed and mastered soon so we can share the whole record with you.  We have a lot of friends on the road right now and a few more headed out in the near future, and frankly we're jealous.  I wish we could be down in Austin for SXSW with our pals again this year but it just wasn't in the cards for us.  Once we get the fully mixed, mastered, and pressed record we'll be back out in your faces and hopefully on your couches.  So safe travels and hard parties to all of of our road warrior friends out there, have a few rounds for us! 

On a better note, this weekend we are going to post an unmixed version of one of the new tunes just to prove we've been doing something with this downtime, and because we think it's pretty rad!  So stay tuned it'll probably go up Friday night and come back down Sunday night/Monday morning so act fast!

 Monday night we went into Stu Stu Studio with The HandMe Downs Gang Vocal Choir and knocked out the last few tracks.  Which in turn means that every note, snare hit, word, and party have been recorded for this album!! Next step: Mixing! If all goes well we should have it in our dirty old hands in the near future.  I think you guys will dig this record, after hearing the rough mix the other day I think it's gonna be a banger! Thanks to everyone who came out and screamed your little black hearts out with us you dudes did a hell of a job!



In other HMD news....
We are going to have a 4 or 5 show run coming up in early May with some buds of ours that also like to get the hell out of Michigan once in a while.  More info on that soon but just go ahead and take Cinco De Mayo week off now.  Hopefully by then we will have the new record on the merch table for you guys.

We didn't forget about you! We just want to make sure all of the parts of everyones rewards are good to go at the same time and a large portion of those include the new album (actually everyone will probably end up with it)

We did it! We want to sincerely thank every last one of you who donated, reposted, and/or even gave a shit about our kickstarter.  We not only hit the goal but surpassed it when we were down to the wire.  I'll admit, things were looking bleak but you guys pulled it out and helped us tremendously! You guys are rad! We will never be able to thank you enough so we will try to do it the only way we can.  This album is coming along nicely, it sounds great so far.  A few more finishing touches on the guitar and then it's time for vocals and everyones favorite part...gang vocals!  We will beging assembling your reward packs soon so hold tight friends!

You are going to get to hear a good selection of the new tunes December 2nd at Small's.  I don't know if you heard or not but we have a show coming up with Street Dogs, Off With Their Heads, and Murder The Stout.  Needless to say we are stoked!

In three days we managed to record: ALL of the drum tracks, ALL of the bass tracks, and MOST of the guitar tracks. So far it sounds amazing. We put in some hard work and it is great to see it all coming together. John Kay and Catman over at Stu Stu Studio are great dudes and are really helping us take the right steps to make sure this album comes out the way we want it. We go back in this week to finish off guitars and then it's time for vocals in November.

We are really looking forward to getting these songs out to you guys so we took some subpar videos with our phones during the tracking process. Then we shoddily edited them a little bit and threw em up on youtube in the wee hours of the morning. So check em out and let us know what you think!

Anyways, as you may have noticed, we have all been posting this Kickstarter everywhere because at this point we've come so far along (thanks to some awesome friends and fans) and we have so little time left we really need to make this happen! We have roughly 40% of our goal right now! So if you can spare anything please please PLEASE help us out. Everyone will end up getting something out of the deal if we hit the goal, we owe it to you guys for all of your support throughout the years. To everyone who has been asking when we are coming back to your town. We will be back out on the road once the record is completed and pressed, and the theme of this whole ordeal is: we need your help to make this happen. Trust us we all miss being on the road and we want to party with you too.

Today we knocked out 11 songs in four and a half hours! Kinda.  Drum tracks are done dude!  Add that to the foud we already have finished completely and we are up to fifteen tracks for this album so far! Picture and video evidence will be following shortly to prove that we are actually cranking this stuff out! It sounds really good already.  Tomorrow (Thursday) we knock out a few more bass parts and hopefully get a start on guitars.  It is finally coming together and we are stoked!  If you want to be the first to get a copy check out the post below this for our kickstarter project link for more information!
